Probably one of the best old movies I have seen, it tells us about Ben who just graduated from college. It’s a really funny movie because Ben is very awkward in every situation, he is not really mature and he is not very independent. The movie has a lot of scenes I didn’t get but it is still a lot of fun. I wasn’t expecting this kind of movie being that old but it make me laugh a lot when they show you how awkward and dumb we can be sometimes.
The movie starts at Ben’s grad party at his house where most of the people are his parents friends, after feeling out of place and not really happy he goes to his bedroom to find Mrs. Robinson one of his parents friend who starts flirting with him, despites his instincts as a man he realizes it’s not right to do that, she insist in him taking her to her house, when they get there she stars flirting with him again making him nervous and act really awkward again

“A boy's best friend is his mother”
This quote resumes what the movie is about. I didn’t like this movie is horrible and I will tell you why, firstable everybody talks about the shower scene and the amazing shower scene, is the worst and most horrible suspense scene I’ve ever seen it looks so fake that instead of getting thrill you laugh, also at the beginning the movie has a whole different story and it isn’t connected with the actual one in any way. Also is kind of disgusting to keep your death mother in your house anyways..
The movie stars with Marion and her lover talking about getting married in Phoenix, Marion doesn’t like her situation, job or life so she steals 40 thousand dollars from her boss and start driving to California where her lover lives; while going out of the city she sees her boss walking in the street and he sees her and realizes something is wrong with her because she said she was sick. While she is driving you can hear all kinds of creepy music making it a big deal when it isn’t really. Then the director tries to trick us leading you to think the story is about something different such as a police man always following her but then he disappears and you never see him again. After a long way and after traveling a lot one night she stays in a motel because she is tired, that’s when she meets Norman Bates a really creepy guy that seems very shy but he has psychological issues, kind of a double personality. After he gives her a room she starts taking a shower and then Norman’s double personality dressed as a woman kills her. His other personalities are Norman’s mom, but she is dead. Norman seems kind of crazy because of her mother’s dead years ago, but he kept his moms body in his house by the motel. After he kills Marion he throws her car and body into a swamp. After people back in phoenix find out that she is missing her sister hires an investigator to find her, in a magic an awesome way the investigator gets to the motel 100 times faster than Marion did and in the same way he gets back to phoenix to one more time as in star wars speed of light spacecraft he gets back to the motel the same day, when he doesn’t find anyone in the motel he goes into Norman’s house an gets killed by Norman as her mom in a very dramatic way it’s a very touching scene haha.
Marion’s sister and lover then go to the motel to find out what happened with the investigator and Marion, after talking to Norman they think there’s something wrong so Marion’s sister goes into Normans house to look for his mother only to find her dead body. She screams so hard that Norman hears she so he goes and tries to kill her but the other guy comes and saves her in a very awesome and realistic scene. They take Norman to psychiatrist and they find out about the personalities and find out that the investigator and marion are dead.
As I told you is a very bad movie with the worst special effects I’ve ever seen the plot and story are bad too so do not watch it you will waste an hour and fifty minutes of your life. Bye

“Rosebud”
The whole movie is about this quote, after a wealthy man dies and pronounces his last word “rosebud” a reporter called Jerry Thompson tries to find out the meaning. The movie is a black and white picture it has a lot of camera angles as well as close ups, has different light settings and lots of music.
The movie starts with Foster Kane a wealthy man owner of a lot of businesses dying and saying his last word rosebud, nobody knows what it means so a reporter Jerry Thompson tries to find out the meaning by interviewing people that were close to him such as his ex wives personal assistants and friends. Foster Kane started building his empire with his printing business and paper publishers; he had trouble because of his money because he did not have time for his beloved ones.
He lived in a huge castle full of statues kind of to try to fill up that huge place; he divorced twice because he was always bussy. As the movies goes on you see multiple flashbacks, story tells and stuff that makes you understand how Kane’s life was. Finally after the reporter interviewed most of his close friends he gives up and concludes that this word will remain unsolved.
When the movie ends you see a bunch of guys burning his stuff and when they threw a sled into the fire you can see the word rosebud printed in a sled he used and loved when he was young.
This gives you an idea that after all the expensive things that money can buy nothing gives you more happiness than simple things such as enjoying time in a small meaningless thing as a sled.
I didn’t really like this movie is kind of slow and old I didn’t like the camera scenes and stuff but I think that’s why it is the critics’ choice for the best movie of all time.

It is probably one of the greatest quotes in the film. In my opinion this is a long movie that tells us about the lives they had back in the civil war in the old confederate states. It has a long Interlude and intermission and it is a very slow movie; this movie is mainly about Scarlett a girl from Tara Georgia who has everything and suddenly starts losing it. She has affairs and personal problems with a lot of people because of her personality.
The Movie is about Scarlett having a crush on Ashley one of her friend’s fiancé, one day at the barbecue at Ashley’s house Rhett buttler is staring at Scarlett, later he gets in to a verbal fight with the men at the barbecue because of war issues. Then while he was at the library he heard a conversation between Scarlett and Ashley where Scarlett tells her feelings about him, when Ashley leaves Rhett tells her that her secret is safe with him that is when all the love/hate routine begins to happen between Rev and Scarlett. Later that evening the men decide to go to war and while Scarlett is staring at Ashley is kissing Melanie goodbye Melanie’s young brother ask her to marry him and she says yes, because she felt alone without any man.
During the war her husband dies and her mother sends her with Melanie and her family to Atlanta. She agrees to go but mammy, her housemaid, knows that she is going there only to wait for Ashley to come from war. At a party in Atlanta that Melanie and Scarlett attend she finds buttler again and they dance in front of everybody.
Months later during the war Scarlett asks for Rhett’s help to take her and Melanie out of town to Tara because Melanie just had her baby, in the journey out they try to take their horse but Rhett hits them all, on the way Rhett leaves Scarlett Melanie and Prissy the little maid to join the confederate army they share a kiss in the sunset. When she gets back home she finds that Tara is ruined, that her mom died and that her dad is going insane. With no money or food she quotes “With god is my witness I’ll never be hungry again”
She then realizes she has to do something to get over it so she starts working with her servants and family in the cotton fields. One day a union soldier is burglarizing her house, she kills him and she found some gold coin to sustain her family for a while.
One day Ashley got back from war and while Melanie was running to his arms, mammy stopped Scarlett to do the same thing. Ashley starts working in Tara and Scarlett proposes him to runaway with her, they kissed but he tells her that he can’t leave Melanie
While a business man is visiting Tara whiling to buy it Scarlett’s dad chases him on his horse but he falls and dies. Scarlett can’t pay the raised taxes in Tara so she came out with a plan and marries Frank Kennedy who owns a very successful store then she takes control of his business and makes her own business, a mill. One day Ashley frank and some friends went to make a raid, Ashley was wounded and Frank was killed.
After frank’s funeral Rhett visits Scarlett and asks her to marry him despite their trouble in the past she first doubts but she finally agrees. They move into Atlanta to this huge mansion and they had a daughter Bonnie Blue.
The movie ends with rev leaving Scarlett after their daughter’s death and Scarlett starting again.
